Stray kids just made their grand debut performing at Truist Park on June 10th. Not only was this the largest concert I have attended, this was also my first time seeing Stray Kids in Atlanta since their concert at Fox theatre back in 2020. I was excited to see what they would bring to the stage with their rising popularity and expanded discography. More than that amazed at how much they have grown as a group and an artist. Starting at a theatre for their first appearance here in Atlanta and moving to selling out a stadium.
The concert kicked off with a powerful performance of their song Mountains, a track about pride, describing how Stray Kids feel invincible in their growing success. One thing about STAYs (the Stray Kids fandom) is that they know how to keep up the hype. From the moment the show started, they never stopped screaming fan chants and cheering on the boys, continuing to display the strong connection between Stray Kids and STAYs.

After a few songs, we got to enjoy a dance medley performed by the backup dancers. They absolutely killed it, keeping the crowd engaged and excited for more. When the boys returned, they showcased their iconic duo stages. My personal favorite was Lee Know and Seungmin’s song Cinema. The song, carrying themes of gratitude and connection between friends, served as an ode to the relationship between the group and STAYs. As they sang, the screen displayed a list of STAYs’ names, made even more magical as fireworks started going off. As someone who had never experienced fireworks at a concert before, it gave the atmosphere an extra spark.

While the show went on, the boys performed many of their popular songs, such as S-Class, LALALALA, and Maniac. When it came time for the encore, the audience got to join in on a random dance segment. It was heartwarming to see everyone participating and having fun. There was even a sing-along, where we all joined in on Chk Chk Boom. During the encore, the boys rode around the stadium on moving carts, greeting fans along the way. It was such a cool and thoughtful way for them to interact with the crowd.
As the night drew to a close, they performed Stray Kids, a song about their journey as a group and their determination to stay true to themselves, unapologetically. As someone who started this Journey with them back in 2018, it was a sweet memorabilia to end a perfect night.
This was truly an experience you cannot put a price on, and I’m grateful I had the opportunity to attend. I really admire the message the boys spread, come as you are, free of judgment. They’ve truly created a safe haven where fans can have fun and feel accepted, no matter their identity. Thank you, Stray Kids, for putting on an unforgettable show and we can’t wait to see what's next!
