HWASA Takes The Stage in ATL

I had the pleasure of attending Hwasa’s first solo tour, [Twits] in North America, on March 23rd at the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta,Ga. Being familiar with Mamamoo’s vibe and performances, I was very excited to see Hwasa show off her individual charm. Prior to the show, we watched as the fans lined up in anticipation and even met with some who helped organize a banner project for the concert. 

     The show began with Hwasa's grand entrance and her song "HWASA," a powerful anthem of self-love and confidence. Her commanding stage presence set the tone, and I knew she was going to deliver an unforgettable performance. After a few songs, she treated the audience to her self-proclaimed "Mother Medley," featuring hits from iconic artists like Beyoncé, Britney Spears, and Madonna. This high-energy segment kept the crowd engaged and excited.

     One particularly fun moment was her Atlanta VCR. Hwasa filmed herself exploring the city, visiting the Krog Street Market, trying different foods, and enjoying the local scene. She also shared a lighthearted video of herself recreating a "Diva makeup" look, giving fans a glimpse of her playful and carefree side.

My personal highlight of the night was "LMM," a song she wrote while reminiscing about summer and joyful moments.  The background visuals provided a beautiful atmosphere that matched her strong vocals, creating a perfect performance. Before the show concluded, Hwasa surprised the audience by walking down the aisle while singing a heartfelt cover of Lady Gaga's "Always Remember Us This Way." It was a touching gesture that showcased her appreciation for her fans. To close the night, she brought her backup dancers on stage for a celebratory toast before performing her empowering track, "I Love My Body." The show was nothing short of amazing, and I deeply appreciate the hard work and dedication Hwasa and her crew put into it. Atlanta will be eagerly waiting for her return!
