From angel-core outfits to EDM chaos, BABYMONSTER’s State Farm Arena stop was loud, magical, and unforgettable—even for a casual fan walking in.

BABYMONSTER (베이비몬스터), also known as BAEMON or BABYMON, is YG Entertainment’s powerhouse 7-member girl group made up of Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita. They made their long-anticipated debut on November 27, 2023 with the digital single BATTER UP, and in less than a year, they’ve already begun carving out a name for themselves in K-pop apart from their “blackpink’s little sisters” title. Their Atlanta tour stop at State Farm Arena showed exactly why. The arena was buzzing with energy—fans of all ages/genders screaming at top volume doing full choreography and fan chanting before the first note even hit. I went in not knowing all the members and only familiar with a few songs, but by the end of the night, I left a full-on BabyMonster believer.

From the second the LIVE band struck their first chord, it was clear this wasn’t going to be your typical K-pop set. The mics were ON, and the girls delivered every note live with power and precision. Pharita’s crisp vocals and breath control blew me away instantly , Asa’s rap verses oozed with charisma, and Ahyeon (couldnt help but nickname her ponytail princess) carried the group as a true all-rounder with flawless high notes, rapping, and stamina that never faltered. Rora and Ruka added that extra spark, with lines that had fans screaming lyrics right back at them (literally). Every member had their own spotlight for their solo stages, and the crowd loved every second of it.

The staging was just as unforgettable. The “wedding angel” outfits paired with a song about wings were dreamy, while the switch to EDM-infused hip hop fashion kept the energy sky-high. My personal favorite touch was the ments that were made specifically for Atlanta and the group telling fans all the activities they hoped to do in our city! Pharita’s solo cover ,the rap duo stage, and the BLACKPINK remixes/covers had the whole arena losing their voices, and when Hot Sauce played, the floor felt like it was vibrating with fan chants. The encore turned into a karaoke-style party with fancams of the crowd; complete with laughs, playful energy, and a stretched-out version of Forever that no one wanted to end. Me and the Monstiez I sat near WENT FULL NORAEBONG. By the time the lights came up, it was clear Atlanta had witnessed something special. BABYMONSTER didn’t just perform—they created a night that was loud, crisp , and unforgettable, leaving even casual listeners like me walking out as mini Monstiez!
